With over 20 years of experience in the Travel and Hospitality industry across Europe, South America, and Australia and completed my degree in Tourism and MBA in Marketing, I’ve worked in Sales and Marketing for a range of corporate and luxury hotel brands like Intercontinental Hotels and Club Med around the world.
However it was when I became a mum to Sam and Tommy, I decided to take a bold step and shift my focus—using my industry knowledge to help others travel more and better. I’ve since built a thriving community of over 2,000 mentees in Australia who are now exploring the world in style without breaking the bank, by mastering frequent flyer programs and smart travel strategies.
My passion for travel and sharing experiences continues through mentoring, content creation, and helping others unlock the freedom to explore the world affordably and meaningfully.
Since 2021 Silvia Medina Travel, and now The Points Academy have become a reference on how to collect points, to travel more for less through my programs.
I earn about 2 million points per year and manage to travel on school holidays with my family, converting everything we spend as daily expenses and now teach others to do the same, in particular people with small businesses can leverage even more.
